We offer all aspects of Industrial Fire Training. Whether the purpose is one of team building exercises or indeed professional fire training, our fire instructors are fully qualified and insured with years of experience.
Our Fire Station has full training facilities.
We provide full use of the firefighting appliances and kit, and can train either at your venue or at our site.

Fire Awareness and Fire Extinguisher Training |
|
Wessex Fire and Rescue Service offer Fire Awareness and Fire Extinguisher Training. The training can be as in depth as you wish, leading eventually to Fire Warden training.
The training includes general fire awareness as well as practical work on fire extinguishers, carried out using gas controlled units. A variety of fire extinguishers can be used in order to gain experience on each specific type.
Training can be carried out at your premises or at our fire station training centre. We have dedicated training rooms which can be used for DVD and/or powerpoint theory training.

As a company you have a legal obligation to train your staff in fire safety (as well as complete a fire risk assessment and action plan).
Fire Warden Training is the next step from the aforementioned fire awareness and fire extinguisher training. All the same aspects are covered but in more detail to fully cover the legislation and give the responsible person the confidence needed to take on the role of Fire Warden.

Confined Space Training is carried out at our main fire station.
Full briefing and equipment checks are carried out before entering the confined space training buildings. Part of the building is designed as a confined space area - it gets smaller the further you venture in to the tunnel.
All the training crew are fully registered, insured and have amongst them years of experience.

Breathing Apparatus Training |
|
Wessex Fire and Rescue Service conduct Breathing Apparatus Training either at our training centre or at a venue of your choice.
We can supply all the breathing apparatus or can work with your equipment if desired.
After full training and a briefing, a major exercise is undertaken incorporating all subjects learnt that day.
