Be A Fireman For The Day

ever wandered what its like to be a firefighter for a day ?

well nows your chance to have a go

get kitted up in fire kit

learn the equipment carried on the truck

fill the truck with water and test the pump

learn about ba and how to search a building

now sit and relax with a coffee waiting for your first shout

have a go at putting out a real fire

use a thermal imaging camera to locate and rescue casualty

have a go with fire extinguishers

go home with a certificate of achievement and a big smile

time 10 till 4 saturdays or sundays
